After being well beaten in the first test match at the Gabba in Brisbane, the West Indies have pushed the Aussies in the second test and the home side was forced to play for a draw. The Windies set the Aussies 330 runs to win in just under a days play but were unable to bowl the hosts out, needing five wickets in the final session.
