Australia took 21 overs after lunch to complete the win against South Africa, seal the series, and retain the No.1 ranking. After the fast bowlers had done the job in the morning session, Simon Katich turned it on in the afternoon, adding two wickets to the one he had picked in the last over before lunch to finish with figures of 3 for 45. Marcus North helped out too, dismissing the resolute Mark Boucher for 25. The teams have an eight-day break before the third Test, from March 19 in Cape Town.
