Forum Rules & Guidelines
These rules and guidelines are laid out to provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that is safe for all users, young and old. We ask that you abide by these rules to maintain a positive experience, and we remind you that if any person presents any actions that threaten the expectation of members keeping a safe and friendly forum, they will in turn be met with resistance in the form of the administration and moderation team.
==========
Section 1. Usernames & Registration.
1. We remind you that upon registration, by clicking I agree button underneath these guidelines you are held in an informal contract with the administrators of this forum, which holds you to maintain a certain attitude in making this forum a friendly, safe, and productive experience.
2. On registration, please use a secure and secret password to ensure adequate levels of security are kept to. We ask this so third parties cannot access your account and read information which may only be available to a small group on the forum.
3. Please choose a suitable and memorable username to ensure that you do not "lose" your account.
4. Usernames containing any wording, or obvious and "distracting" double ententes will be changed for your, and our other member's well being.
5. We remind our patrons that only ONE username may be created. If you have forgotten your username or password please refer to this page. If you still need help with your account please contact us via email, our details can be found here.
6. By signing up on Cricket Central your account information will not be given to any third parties, although it may be used on other Web Media Network websites/forums.

2. Signatures may not contain any personalised images for a number of reasons however we do supply members with a range of Cricket team userbars which they may use. They can be found here.
3. Signatures should not extend over 5 lines in height. If your signature is deemed distracting from your posts it may be removed without notice.
4. A signature must not not contain abusive, pornographic, or overly disturbing material. This is a family friendly site, so if you wouldn't like your children/parents seeing it, we don't want to see it either.
5. When using the Profile feature on the forums please provide accurate information only. You do not under any circumstances have to give out any personal information to anyone at any time.
6. Avatars must fit the 120x120 pixel size and be less than 30kb in file size.
Section 3. Topics, Posts, and General Forum Conduct.
1. All topics, posts, and polls must keep to our family friendly policy, this therefore means that you shouldn't post abusive, pornographic, hateful, or overly extreme messages which may be deemed inappropriate by the board managers.
2. Please do not create multiple topics in multiple forums, regarding the same thing. You only need post in one forum as we have a section for every type of post and therefore each has its place.
3. Please use the Personal Messenger that all members will have access to if they adhere to our rules to speak to one individual. A forum is a place for group discussions, and therefore conversations, or attempting to start conversations only intended for one person to post is does not have a place in the public sections of the boards.
4. Section 3.1 applies to the personal messenger as well as the general forum.
5. Please be friendly, and if you have criticism please ensure it is constructive criticism. Cricket Central does not welcome individuals who post unfriendly material towards one, or a whole group of people here, and therefore they will be removed quickly.
6. Attack the post, not the poster, we welcome debates at Cricket Central and even encourage them but we will not stand for personal abuse towards other members. If you are involved in an argument or any other unwelcome activity, please remember that even if you are not initially at fault, if you contribute to that negative topic, post, or personal message exchange you will be looked on in the same light.
7. Discussing illegal, or how to partake in illegal activities is simply not allowed on Cricket Central.
8. We don't take kindly to people who register purely to advertise something they may or may not be involved with. If you register with the intention to advertise your posts will be deleted and your account will be banned. However if you are an active member of the community and wish to plug something you're involved with you're more than welcome to add it to your signature, if you wish to plug something in a post please contact one of the administrators or moderators for approval before you post it or add it to oyur signature. Competitive websites & forums are a massive no-no and will be removed from posts and signatures.
9. Please remember that this is an English speaking board, and when you are capable to do so, please remember to use as higher standards of presentation as possible as it will reflect positively on yourself.
10. Text speak "txt spk" is not allowed in any form and will not be tolerated on any public forum area. You may only use this in personal messages.
11. Try to remain from posting one or two word posts, we don't mind it occasionally but if it becomes frequent we will step in.
12. Please don't hijack threads by changing the topic of the opening post.
13. Please refrain for double posting in short periods of time. If you need to add something to the topic after you have just made a post, please use the 'Edit Post' button and add the appropriate message.
14. Unless you have relevant input or information to an old thread please refrain from bumping old threads.
15. These actions are explicitly at the moderators discretion, and their decision will be final.
Bear in mind at all times that the moderator will have a reason for closing the topic, and will usually post his/her reason for doing so, this is done as per the section on "Section 3. Topics, Posts, and General Forum Conduct." in the forum rules. If a moderator doesn't it's usually obvious what the issue is or it isn't appropriate to discuss.
