Will miss this weeks game, which is the first of the year because of injury. Hopefully will get it right for next week.

Used to love to play through High School but never really continued on much after that, apart from in the backyard or the beach!

Am looking to get into maybe some indoor cricket this year.
Yeah I only used to play for school.. and also played 5th grade during school holidays lol then played a few 4th and and couple of 3rd grade but then gave it away once I left high school..
Was a pretty decent bowler in my day.. but was terrible with the bat, my shot selection was pretty much made up of the hook, leg glance, or straight drive lol Nothing on the offside lol

Do you throw in many leg cutters along with your medium pacers?

Probably medium fast.. Just kept it on off stump or just outside.. Used to play every night in the backyard with the neighbourhood kids and would pretty much bowl for 3 hours straight lol so I become pretty accurate..

Those were my stats last year, although I think my semi final is missing because I couldn't find the stats on the net. First game for me tomorrow, fit and ready to go after missing the first game last week ! Playing only adults for Armadale this year, starting in the One Day B's XI tomorrow.
The grades are 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th grade then One Day A's, B's, D's and E's. Grade cricket is over 2 days so that is probably a stronger level, but 5th-7th is the same level of skill as ODA's and ODB's imo, but I still want to get as high as I can.
Looking to continue to open the bowling and maybe chip in with a few runs, with my goals for this year being ...
Make a 50
Take 5 wickets in an innings
Win a final
Drop less than 3 catches
Get hit for less than 5 sixes
Get hit for less than 15 fours
Not get injured
This will be my stats thingy for this season ...

Where do you bat in the order?
I realise it looks bad, but anything to I get a hand too is a drop so it could be a dropped screamer not always a dolly straight down my throat. It's still too many though ...
Not sure, because I usually open the bowling, even though I might not be the 11th best batsmen they put me down there to give others a shot, but that happened alot more in juniors.
Raining atm in Perth ! After a week of nothing but sunshine

I made that 45 not out with a guy who made a ton not out too, probably the best moment of my cricket life when he got there because he had been through heaps of **** with his ex coach and everyone went off. I had to give him the strike in the last over, and luckily he hit a four off like the 3rd last ball of the innings to bring it up.
Nice Sean, didn't do to well with the bowling this morning I see
How many overs can you bowl, in juniors it was 10 (5 overs each spell at the maximum) in 2 dayers and I think 8 in one dayers (4 overs each spell at the maximum). In adults you can bowl 8 straight overs which is good because you get rythym and **** going and don't have to worry about being taken off.
